Detective work where one follows a tiny trail and always hopes to learn a little bit more about the work of art. The search for details in archives, libraries, photos and especially the examination of the object itself enables one to get very close to an artwork from different perspectives.

As a freelance art historian / provenance researcher, I offer scientific provenance research for museums, associations, private individuals and companies to identify possible art forgeries of cultural assets caused by Nazi persecution, SBZ / GDR confiscation contexts and. I am happy to prepare the research results in text form or through a digital presentation on the internet or for lectures.
